Using the Pet Finder QR ID Tag
Anyone who finds a pet wearing the tag can scan the QR code with their smartphone to access the owner's contact details. This allows for quick and safe reunification.
- Step 1: Scan the QR code on the tag to view the owner’s contact details.
- Step 2: Keep the dog or cat safe until the owner is contacted and collection of the pet is arranged.
Yes, you can easily update your details through your Safe Paws Pet Finder account at any time to ensure they remain accurate.
Occasionally, due to uncontrollable product defects during production, you may be that person who receives one. Don't worry! Simply WhatsApp us on (876) --- --- with an image of the QR code side of the tag. If our tech guys cannot fix it, we will send you a new one free of charge.
Lost Pets
Lost and stolen dogs Jamaica is our sister site. We publish missing pets who are wearing our QR ID tags if they have not been scanned within 24 hours of being reported as missing.
Lost and Stolen Dogs Jamaica is an initiative dedicated to reuniting families with their missing pets that wear the ID tag but has not been scanned in 24 hours. By publishing a missing pet’s poster on our sister site, it makes it easier to monitor how the tag is working. We can then monitor and record our findings. - Log into your Pet Finder account and ensure your pet’s QR ID Tag information is up to date for effective communication.
- Click the button which says "REPORT MY PET MISSING" and download your missing pet’s poster. You will be able to share this on your social media platforms. The website should automatically fill in your pets’ details.
- Once you have downloaded the poster, use the phone's text edit option to type in the area where your pet was last seen directly underneath where it says LAST SEEN. This way allows accuracy about where exactly your pet went missing.

Tags are available for purchase through our website under the "Get Your Tag Now" section.

Yes, the QR code is encrypted and only displays essential information to facilitate the safe return of your pet.
Once your pet is reported missing, we will automatically share your poster. However, please fill in the contact us page on the website if there is anything you wish to discuss.
The website will email you on the email you used to set up your account to notify you the tag has been scanned. Please contact us by email at info@safepawspetfinder.com to update us if this is a false alarm.
The material of the QR code and custom logo parts is aluminium with epoxy resin added to the surface of the aluminium to make it waterproof and prevent fading. The edge metal part on the dog tags is made of zinc alloy.
To purchase one (1) tag is 500jmd plus shipping. There will be discounts if you purchase multiple tags.
Once they arrive you will have two options, six (6) months – 3,000 JMD pro-account subscription or, a twelve (12) months 5,000 JMD pro-account subscription.
We use Knutsford Express courier services who ship island wide. Simply track your package and collect as soon as you are notified that is has arrived at your local office. Late collection may result in Knutsford charging a daily holding fee. Avoid these fees by tracking your package daily.
If you are leaving your pet in somebody else's care, you may want to add their details to your account. If your Pet Finder tag is searched during the dates you schedule, both yours and the temporary keeper's details will be on file. To do this, sign in to your account and click 'Holiday Cover'. Add the temporary keeper's details, then click 'Schedule Holiday Cover' to schedule the keeper, dates and pets.
No problem! Simply purchase your tags entering the quantity at the checkout. Once they arrive, set up an account for each pet by following the instructions on the card enclosed with your tags. Discounts will apply for multiple tags.
